Woonsocket, RI- Congratulations to U18 forward Jayden Sison on his commitment to Princeton University. Sison, a two year captain in our program, currently has a 7-13-20 line in eleven games for the U18 team. A native of Paoli, PA, Sison spent last year with our U16 team tallying 33 goals and 29 assists in 52 games. Here is what Coach Plante had to say about Sison: “We are extremely thrilled and excited for Jayden and his family on his recent commitment to Princeton University. This certainly is a very deserving opportunity for Jayden and one that he has earned. Jayden has the ability to impact each game in a variety of ways other than just on the scoresheet. He is a very intelligent and detailed player and takes a lot of pride in doing all of the little things very well and playing with great structure. The puck and opportunities tend to find Jayden a lot because of his high hockey IQ and consistent good habits and that has generated a lot of goals for us in the games we have played this season. It’s not coincidence that he has been a highly productive player everywhere he has been in his young career. On top of his great work ethic and attention to detail he is skilled, has very good vision and playmaking ability. Where he thrives is in high traffic areas especially around the net in the dirty areas. His high end compete allows him to win battles and his intelligence, skill and vision allows him to make plays and generate scoring chances for our team. He does a lot of intangibles in all three zones and is a very good 200 foot players. He takes pride in blocking shots and being hard to play against defensively. He is a key contributor in all situations for our team. His impact is not just limited to on the ice. As his commitment shows, he excels in the classroom. As one of our team captains Jayden possesses great leadership qualities that are always on display with our team, in the classroom, and in the school and outside communities. He possesses a terrific attitude on a daily basis and that is infectious with his teammates and coaches. I love his care factor! Jayden has been an absolute pleasure to work with and given his character traits, work ethic and great attention to detail there is no question he is going to be very successful in all facets of his life moving forward. I look forward to finishing this year strong with Jayden before he moves on from us and accomplishing the goals we have for our team together. Congratulations Jaydo! We are very proud of you!

Congratulations to Jayden and his family!
