U18 Wins NE Regional Championship

Hudson, NH- Congratulations to the U18 Saints on winning the New England Regional Championship this past weekend, claiming the title for the second year in a row. The Saints went 2-1 in round robin play which was good for third place in the division. Wins over Elite Hockey (5-2) and Mid Fairfield (5-4) prompted the Saints into the playoffs. The semifinal game on Sunday was a rematch with Selects Hockey Academy, this time with the Saints coming out on top 3-2. Maine Nordiques Academy, who finished first in the pool, was the matchup in the finals. Tommy Heaney made 41 saves, while Owen McLaughlin scored twice led the way for the Saints. Final 3-1. Zach Aben scored the game winning goal. The Saints are not off to St. Louis, MO for the USA Hockey National Tournament April 28th- May 3rd.
