Six Saints Drafted in the NAHL

Woonsocket, RI- The North American Hockey League held its Supplemental Draft in early June followed by the league’s Entry Draft in mid July. The Saints had six players drafted into the NAHL, five of which were in the organization this past season. Here are the players that were drafted with some information on each:

 

Jayden Sison- 35th overall in the Supplemental Draft by the New Jersey Titans. Committed to Princeton University. Began his career with the Saints during the 2019-2020 season with the U16 team.

 

Tyler Desrochers- 40th overall in the Supplemental Draft by the Chippewa Steel. Committed to Providence College. Played this past season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. Member of the 2019-2020 U16 Saints.

 

Michael Woll- Drafted by the Northeast Generals in the Supplemental Draft. Member of the Saints for the past two seasons beginning his career with the U16 team.

 

Josh Karnish- 6th Round (161st overall) in the Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wilderness. Two year player with the Saints beginning his career with the U16 team.

 

Tommy Delfarno- 6th Round (174th overall) in the Entry Draft by the Johnstown Tomahawks. Member of the 2021 NE Regional Champion U18 team out of Lincoln, RI.

 

Tommy Heaney- 14th Round (405th overall) in the Entry Draft by the Johnstown Tomahawks. Two year goaltender for the Saints starting in the 2019-2020 season.
